Linguistic is the science that tries to discover the theory behind language, including among others its phonetics or mimic.
In parallel to that stands literature, the more practical part of language.
Literature can be classified and categorized. There are many ways that can be done. For example by author or by epoch.
A very important concept for categorizing literature or texts is: Drama, Epic and Lyric.
Very, very raw formulated, lyric is related closer to art and music.
This means, lyric is less bounded to gramatical or phonetical rules within the language it is written.
It still tries to deliver a message though, but packed in a creative way, that can even be within the graphical format it was originally written.

Even though lyric often jumps over the boundaries of grammer, different types of lyric have their own boundaries.
A very famous example here is the so called Sonnett. A Sonnett spans out metric rules the lyrical text needs to follow.
Otherwise it still can be lyric, but not a Sonnett.
One could think, why? Well this actually makes it art and craftmanship.
Making it possible to create a specific message within given boundaries.
This is similar to a lot of other fields far outside from literature. For example do programming languages give a very strict set of
boundaries to the coder. It is the latters craftmanship to establish an executiion order within those boundaries that fullfills
all the requirements that are asked for to the software.
Finding connections to fields that seems very far away is beautiful.
Another comparison why those artificial structural constraints are of interest could be derived by looking at the above picture.
Of course you could draw a boat on a white piece of paper. This needs skill and talent.
But by adding the constraints of only real existing streets in the map
can be used to draw, another layer of complexity is added which brings the task into a different level.
What is a Sonnett?
A Sonnett is first and foremost distinguishable by its two characteristic parts - the Quartetts and the Terzetts.
The first one consists of two subparts, Quartetts, meaning two times four lines of text, and the second one also consists of
two subparts, two Terzetts, meaning two times three lines of text. Those are the basic structural requirements, to form a Sonnett.
Then there is a metric limit as well, meaning, for example in castillian Sonnetts, each line consists of 11 syllabs.
To see, there are many dimensions lyric can be created. First there is metric, then there is also graphical dimension. There is a
semantical dimension as well, yet there is no semantical requirement. Meaning, the Sonnett does not necessarily be about a nature phenomen.
Brining now a programming language to the table opens up a whole new dimension. Why?
Code, similar to e.g. the above text in castillian language, has its foreground appearance, code has its syntactical structures to follow
defined by the language itself, e.g. Python or JavaScript or Assembly or whatever. Now, one could state, that especially lyric does not
strictly follow syntactical rules within a language. This would also not necessary for coding lyric, but only if a dimension, that does not
exist within natural languages, will remain undiscovered. What dimension is that?
Coding languages can be compiled and this return another outcome. Without following syntactical rules, this dimension will not open, except
stacktraces are part of the art.
